Dance Fan Set

MAGNIFICENT, IMPRESSIVE, STRIKING, SUPERB… One could go on and on describing these exquisitely beautiful Cup’ik Dance Fans created by an Eskimo master weaver on Nunivak Island, in southwest Alaska! These are full size fans designed to be used. Or, you may wish to display them as part of your fine art collection. Made from reindeer beard (caribou fur) with a collar of otter fur, and beach ryegrass. You will receive two fans, each measure approximately 17”x17”. The ryegrass has been dyed various colors using local wild berries and other organic materials. It is then woven into the medallion’s ornamental design in Native tradition (see inset photo, left) … SPLENDID, GRAND, NOBLE, SPECTACULAR, MARVELOUS… One could go on and on.
