Dance Fan Set

MAGNIFICENT, IMPRESSIVE, STRIKING, SUPERB… One could go on and on describing these exquisitely beautiful Cup’ik Dance Fans created by an Eskimo master weaver on Nunivak Island, in southwest Alaska! These are full size fans that can actually be used. And, they may be displayed as part of your fine art collection. Made from reindeer beard (caribou fur), and beach ryegrass. You will receive two fans, each measure approximately 17”x13”. The ryegrass has been dyed various colors using local wild berries and other organic materials. It is then woven into the medallion’s ornamental design in Native tradition (see inset photo, left) … SPLENDID, GRAND, NOBLE, SPECTACULAR, MARVELOUS… One could go on and on.
